Sitting patiently for my pie to cook, I spent time reading their menu.
Frank Pepe established America's first pizzeria in the heart of New Haven's Little Italy in 1925.

Finally, the pizza came fresh out of the oven. The aroma of clams and fresh garlic was tempting me to just pick up a slice and eat it without waiting for it to cool down. This was a delicious pizza pie! The thought of it seems odd, but excellent concept. I highly recommend it, if you like clams.
I haven't tried the other pizzas but from eyeing everyone else's pizza, it looked good.
