NYC: Rin Thai Cuisine

Thai Steamed Dumplings

Rin Thai Cuisine is yet another contemporary Thai restaurant in the Chelsea neighborhood, NYC. I’d say probably the best Thai restaurant in the area.

They have great lunch specials, $8 for an entree and appetizer, and portions are pretty decent sized. You can view many of their lunch options here.

I ordered the Thai Steamed Dumplings (chicken and shrimp) in ginger soy sauce as my free appetizer, and those pockets of goodness were so delicious and chock full of ‘stuffing.’

My entree choice was beef with eggplant and green peppers in green curry. The curry was perfectly cooked, and seemed very authentic. (I’ve had okay curry before).

Other dishes I’ve sampled, from my lunch crew – chicken yellow curry (wow that was good! Order this when you’re around), beef teriyaki (good, but you can have better elsewhere), and Bamboo pad ped (ground chicken with bamboo shoots. Oh so good.)
