Chuletas de Cerdo (Air Fried Pork Chops) with Rice and Beans

Chuletas con arroz con habichuelas

Chuletas con arroz con habichuelas

I’ve been cooking this meal since I was a teenager growing up in Brooklyn. I was probably 14 when I bought my caldero and learned how to cook this dish. It’s so easy and I just make it without looking for a recipe.

These days I just cook pork chops in air fryer because I can’t stand the smell of Fried Pork lingering in the house. You may have noticed in my IG story that I was cooking this in my air fryer outside 🤫

Anyway, here’s my receta (recipe). Enjoy!

Chuletas de Cerdo (Air fried pork chops)

Ingredients
6 thin sliced pork chops, bone-in
Goya Adobo, to taste
1/2 packet of Goya Sazon
paprika, to taste (optional)

Directions
Preheat air fryer to 390 degrees. Working in batches, cook seasoned pork chops for 12 minutes. Flip over, and cook another 5.

Stewed Black Beans

Ingredients
1 can of black beans, drained
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
2 tbsp Goya Recaito or Sofrito (optional)
Goya Adobo, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 packet of Goya Sazon

Directions
In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, and cilantro and sauté for 2 minutes. If you have Recaito or Sofrito, add to the pot. Pour in beans and season with Adobo and Sazon. Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring every few min.

Plate beans and pork chops with rice.
