Grana Pastificio is my favorite shop to buy freshly made pasta in Westport. It’s located by the Westport Train Station, next door to Winfield Italian Deli. Grana’s roots date back to 1935, when Great Grandpa Spadoni owned and operated his handmade macaroni shop in Stamford, Connecticut. Combining Old World culinary traditions with modern fine dining, Grana Pastifico offers you superior products that could once only be found at your local trattoria.

Ricotta Whey Spaghetti

Grana’s products are made fresh daily. Their menu features tender tagliatelle, thick ribbons of pappardelle, pillowy ravioli, a selection of delicious sauces, fresh mozzarella, and their own olive oil.

Beef Ravioli with beef broth/brown butter

While they offer a limited stock in their refrigerator, we recommend calling ahead and placing an order. Some of our favorites include beef ravioli which we’ve cooked in a beef broth/brown butter sauce, ricotta agnolotti with sage and browned butter, or pappardelle with their delicious bolognese. These dishes can be cooked and served in under 20 minutes (pasta takes 5 minutes to cook), perfect for a busy weeknight dinner. If you need alternate suggestions, ask their staff.
