SoNo Baking Company & Café recently opened its third location in Darien, near the Metro North train station. Guests can purchase delicious baked goods, cakes, pastries, and bread, or have a seat and enjoy some of their delicious breakfast or lunch items, like sandwiches, quiche, salads and soups.
As soon as we stepped into the café, the trio of freshly baked croissants were calling my name – from the plain butter croissant to the ones dressed with thin slivers of toasted almonds to the savory chocolate croissant, which is my favorite of the three. Holding back, we decided to order our usual breakfast items (what we normally get at their SoNo location) – a ham and cheese croissant with bechamel sauce and an egg and cheese sandwich on a toasted English muffin. We did manage to try a couple baked items available for sampling, like their delicious blueberry scones and muffins.

Another great breakfast item to try is their Granola Parfait with strawberries. The granola is so delicious, we recommend purchasing a bag to top your yogurt with.
