TOMĀTO TOMÄTO Pizzeria & Pour House Grand Opening Event in Stamford

TOMĀTO TOMÄTO‘s official Grand Opening is set to take place on June 1, 2013, 11am-10pm. The day’s events will include a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Mayor and the local Chamber of Commerse, a Live Radio Broadcast with “the fox”, Giveaways, Drink Specials and more!

TOMĀTO TOMÄTO (pronounced Tomeyto Tomahto) opened on April 2nd on 401 Shippan Avenue in Stamford, CT. It offers an Italian American menu that can cater to any palate. Chef Luciano Magliulo and the owners designed a flavorful and cost friendly menu that provides Starters, Salads, Signature Pizzas, Entrees, Soups and Sides, and Kids Choices. The Signature Pizzas come in one size and can be ordered one of two ways, Traditional (with shredded mozzarella) or Old World Style (with fresh mozzarella). The pizzas come in many different options and are very cleverly named after streets in Shippan. You can choose from the Classic Margherita to the Ralsey, which is topped with grilled chicken, sautéed spinach and roasted garlic, or the Soundview which is made up of spicy sausage and cherry peppers. The prices of the pizzas range from $8.95 to $16.95 and the entrees range from $12.95 to $18.95.

Tomato Tomato is 4000 square feet and has a 130 seat capacity. There are cherry wood tables draped with Kraft brown paper, thick stock cardboard menus, and subtle lights that create the cozy mood of the restaurant. The 25 foot white marble bar is centrally located with a dozen bar stools stationed around it with two 60 inch flat screen televisions above.

The bar is fully stocked with bottled beer, crisp wine, specialty drinks, and a list of “Signature ‘Tinis”. The “Signature ‘Tinis” range in flavors from the crisp and tart “Grapefruitini” made with Tanqueray Gin, St. Germain and Grapefruit Juice to the sweet fruity “Fruitini Throwback” which has Kettle One Vodka, Malibu Rum, Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice. They made sure not to leave off the staple “Filthy Martini”. The “Signature ‘Tinis” range in price from $9.95- $12.95.
