Bodega Taco Bar is a Cal/Mex inspired taco/tequila/bar with locations in Fairfield and Darien. The Darien location recently opened last fall, and just this month started serving lunch. On the menu are tacos, salads, tortas and several entrees. The bar stocks over 60 types of sipping tequilas and delicious cocktails including margaritas, iced Mexican beer and soft Spanish wines.

Off the menu, it might be hard to narrow it down to a few items to indulge in. If you’re here with friends, get a couple items from each section on the menu. Our favorite tacos are the Baja, made with panko-crusted mahi mahi, pico de gallo, lemon aioli and the Crispy Korean Chicken tacos. Yup, after eating plenty of Korean tacos from NYC food trucks, we had to see what Bodega had to offer. With a little bit of kick from the red pepper paste and crunch from the Asian slaw, this taco is a winner. So order a couple and wash it down with an ice cold drink.
