Red Moon Fest – CT grown foods, beer and wine

The Red Moon Fest will take place on Saturday, September 8th. This evening celebration with feature locally-produced foods, wines and beers, as this year’s theme is “Grown, Made, & Created in Connecticut.” The event will also feature music by the Lost Acres String Band.

There will also be a silent and live auction. Already, the list of donated auction prizes is impressive, including a South Africa photo safari, a Cape Cod weekend getaway, works of art, dining certificates, and passes to area attractions.

The money raised during this event goes to a good cause: The Middlesex Community College Foundation, a non-profit charity dedicated to the support of Middlesex Community College and its students. The Middlesex Community College Foundation raises support for student scholarships, faculty development, instructional equipment, and public lectures and programs that contribute to the quality of life here in Connecticut.
