Spring is finally here, and Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines‘ 2nd Annual Spring Palate Awakening event will take place this Saturday, March 24th at Equinox Fitness in Darien.

This year’s event will feature over 70 wines from more than 10 different suppliers. Wines will range from the tiniest of productions like the Demuth Kemos Cabernet Sauvignon to The Pinot Project. You can view the growing wine list at www.nicholasrobertsltd.com. In addition to wine, there will be food prepared by Executive Chef Robert Troilo of Nicholas Roberts Gourmet Bistro.

This is the second largest fundraising event for Turning Wine Into Water, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean water and sanitation facilities to those that lack them in underdeveloped nations. As many as 26,000 children under the age of five die each day simply because they lack access to clean water. Each of these 26,000 deaths is preventable. We don’t need to wait for a cure or a vaccine or a piece of cutting-edge technology. Clean water can be made available to those in need if WE have the will to make it a reality. But we can’t do that without your help. And helping has never tasted so good.

There is no charge for the tasting though Turning Wine Into Water will ask for an “at will” donation at registration. 100% of all donations go directly toward Turning Wine Into Water and 10% of all sales from the evening are donated to Turning Wine Into Water.

You can pre-register by sending an email to rsvp@nicholasrobertsltd.com.
