Monster B’s Bar & Grille is a bar in the Glenbrook section of Stamford. It’s a cool place to grab a nice cold one while watching the game on one of their seven large screen televisions, or listening to one of the local bands. On tap are 30 different beers from Magic Hat to Blue Point to Abita and many more in rotation. You also have a large selection of bottled beers – over 150. Unsure of what to get? Tell the waitress what you’re craving, and they’ll bring you a sample.
The bar food is priced right (most dishes were under $15) and comes in big portions, enough to share with another person. We ordered two appetizers and it could have easily fed four people.
The first thing that caught our eye was the nachos smothered with cheese, chili, tomatoes, and scallions. This alone could be a meal. Order the nachos if you have 4 or more in your group. The chili was meaty, and didn’t have a lot of beans. Heat level was just right – slightly spicy.

We recommend both kinds of sliders: pulled pork and the cheeseburgers. Our waitress allowed us to get a combination with two of each. The pulled pork was tender and had a flavorful sauce. The cheeseburger sliders were good too: not soaking in grease as what you’d expect from a bar kitchen.
The bar is also kid friendly, and has a large patio/deck area. Overall, a great neighborhood spot to kick back.
