Madison Square Eats Returns May 6th

Yesterday I noticed people setting up kiosks for one of my favorite food events during the month of May in the Flatiron District – Madison Square Eats. Yup it’s back again, starting Friday, May 6th and running until June 3rd, from 11am to 9pm each day.

In case you haven’t been to past MSE’s, it’s a monthlong outdoor food venue set up at Worth Square, across from Madison Square Park. There will be food & beverages (some vendors sell wine or beer) to enjoy at the Park or take away, especially since tables/seats fill up quick during the prime lunch hour.

For the past year, I remember seeing a whole pig being roasted at the “corner of the square.” Looks like that vendor won’t be around this year. Sigh.
