Austin, TX: Dinner at TRIO at the Four Seasons

Earlier this year I reviewed TRIO at the Four Seasons for its lunch selection. This time, I’m reviewing their dinner menu, mostly in pictures.

Salmon Ceviche
Szechwan Sauce, Gin-Cucumber, Jalapeño
Crab Cake
Butternut Squash, Pickled Chanterelles, Masa Tuille
Crispy Pork Belly
Pickled Market Vegetables, Plum Sauce
Special: Mahi mahi w/ falafel crust
Spinach, Arugula, Garlic, Hazelnuts
Truffle Mac n Cheese

I was impressed with the spinach, arugula, garlic and hazelnut side dish. It was very delicious, and savory. I think I might try to make it at home.

The pork belly – a little on the oily side, and a little too much for one person to consume.

The mahi mahi was delicious. If you hear the waiter mention this as a special on the menu, do order it.
