Connecticut Muffin is a cute cafe on Main Street. There is a small dining area by the entrance, with 4 small tables. The staff are friendly folks who know their customers by name.
Muffins are their specialty – low fat, bran, and yogurt muffins. They also bake cute Red Velvet and Blackout cupcakes, bear claws, danishes, and apple tarts on their premises. For lunch you can grab a panini, sandwich or soup. Not hungry, grab a seat and savor a cup of joe, or have some tea.
2 out of the 4 customers that came into the cafe after me ordered a Morning Glory (aka carrot muffin) cut in half, toasted with butter – sounds yummy. Next time I’ll try it.
