Prepared Spinach Dip

Spinach dip is a great appetizer for parties (and even festive for holiday parties because of the greenery). I’ve tried making it at home, but it’s not the same and not the hard work, especially if I compare it to Houston’s Spinach Artichoke dip.  So, I just resort to the easy way out – ordering it pre-made. Here’s my review of spinach dips I’ve tried:

Hannah Spinach Dip

Spinach Dip made easy, with crunchy garden-fresh vegetables. Open and serve, with no heating involved. Enjoy this dip at any time. Its great for parties, or as a light low-carb snack.

dee: You can buy this at Costco. I like it, but then again I don’t probably because of its interesting taste – tastes more cheesy than more like spinach. Oh, and it needs more spinach. I also prefer hot dip, so this was not a winner.

Trader Joe’s Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip

dee: Inexpensive, and takes only 4 minutes to prepare – microwave and serve. Delicious, creamy, and a perfect ratio of spinach to artichoke.

What to use to dip?
Tortilla chips are a big hit, and so are crackers
