Nothing beats a perfect cup of French onion soup. But where do you find the perfect cup?

The main components of French onion soup are Gruyère cheese, yellow onions, bread, and its broth.

So far, the best soup I’ve had was at Markt, a Belgian restaurant in Chelsea, NYC. Pair that with a Croque Monsieur and I’m a happy camper.
