Recipe: Filipino Style Roast Pork Belly (Lechon)

Ingredients:

5 lbs Pork Belly (with skin)
2 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tsp kosher salt
3 tbsp paprika
3 tbsp garlic powder

Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the pepper, salt, paprika and garlic powder.
2. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Meanwhile wash and place meat on a baking pan. Rub the seasoning all over the meat.
2. Bake for 1 1/2 hours – skin up; Flip over (skin down) and cook for another 40 minutes.
3. Slice the meat into 3 pieces and flip over for the final time (skin up). Cook for another 10 minutes.
4. Slice and serve with vinegar or lechon sauce (Mang Tomas is the brand I prefer).
