Quality Meats is part of the Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, situated on 58th St between 5th and 6th Aves in Manhattan. Don’t let those meat hooks as light fixtures make you change your mind about dining here, the food and service make up for it. During a power lunch with my client, I savored a delicious shrimp cocktail with 3 dipping sauces. For the main course I had a open faced fillet mignon sandwich paired with haricot vert and fries. I ordered my meat medium rare and the steak was divine, especially since I paired it a glass of Cabernet. For dinner, we had a Strawberry Shortcake – strawberries layered with vanilla ice cream, topped with a round brioche.
