Coffee and Chocolate Waffle

Sounds interesting, but it’s so good. I went to Max Brenner yesterday morning and ordered that for breakfast. For a buck, you’d figure you can order the combo and head out the door, but it was a long process. I watched my waffle go through the toaster oven. A barista served free samples of a cookie dough shake – which was delicious – a little too sweet for my palatte, but an ounce was good enough. It felt like I was drinking a cookie – if that even makes sense. While I was enjoying my sample, a Brenner-ite took my heated waffle and drizzled it with melted chocolate; wrapped it up and poured my coffee in a cup. 5 minutes – worth the wait. You should try it – just don’t try to order everything on the menu while you’re waiting.
