Replenish Beauty Supplies

After work, I decided to stroll (what else is new?). I walked down to SoHo and did some window shopping. I hopped on the C train at Spring Street, then took the A to 59th. I was actually planning on going home, but it was a perfect connection, so up to Columbus Circle I went. Went to the Shops and got up to the second floor and was immediately handled a flyer promoting Rev Run’s book signing at Borders. Took a glance in the store and there he was… felt there was no need to see him. Turned around and went to Sephora to pick up some intense moisturizer. My forehead seems like a big patch of dullness that needed some life. The salesgirl recommended I get the Cosmedicine Hydra Healer and so I did. After sampling a bunch of moisturizers and treatments to make my skin appear “dewey,” I realized I needed some lip stuff, so I grabbed a Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm (my favorite lip treatment, the Rosebud Salve, is in my BF’s car and my lips needed help).

Final stop was Whole Foods – grabbed a French Baguette, yogurt, a hunk of Gouda Roomkaas, an extra creamy type of Gouda, and a Swiss Pure moisture moisturizer (a steal at $7.49). The moisturizer is comparable to the Cellex-C Skin Hydration Complex in that it leaves your skin feeling well moisturized, without the feeling of having a mask of stuff on your face. I’ll give a report on how my purchase goes.

Didn’t mention this before, but last week I purchased a pair of Diesel Hush jeans…I hope I can still fit in them – I’ve been eating so much cheese and carbs this week =X
