On Wednesday, December 12th, 2012, Pink Sumo Sushi & Sake Café will celebrate its Grand Opening with a sushi & sake tasting event that will open to the general public beginning at 3pm. Guests will have the chance to sample fresh, high-quality sushi and a selection of quality sake.
Pink Sumo Sushi & Sake Café will be closed to the public from 12pm-2pm on December 12th for a private, invitation-only portion of the event. 20% of sales generated during the event will be donated to Homes with Hope, a local charity supporting the homeless. This is Pink Sumo’s way of giving back to the community that it is so proud to be a part of.
Homes with Hope is a Westport-based grassroots response to the tragedy of homelessness. With a caring, professional staff and the help of more than 400 volunteers, they assist people who have lost their ability to lead normal lives. Each night, over 80 people find shelter or housing in one of Homes with Hope’s facilities.
