We’ve gone to Valencia Luncheria many times but never tried their breakfast. On the breakfast menu are traditional breakfast items like egg platters with hash browns or toast, egg sandwiches, French Toast, and pancakes. Then you’ve got hearty omelettes served with rice and beans, arepas and more filling platters.
I’d say go for what you’re craving. You can’t go wrong with any of their breakfast items. We’re big fans of their French Toast which we’d recommend getting with a side of chorizo. It’s crispy on the outside and custardy on the inside. With a sprinkle of powdered sugar and drizzle of honey on top, you’ve got yourself a winner.
The omelette platters are big, and a good deal for $7.50, so you might wanna share with someone else, unless you’ve got a big appetite. Our faves always involve meat – either chorizo or the stewed beef. Don’t worry…the omelette won’t come soggy. And of course, don’t forget to squirt some Guasacaca sauce (the green sauce) on top to add some heat.

Smaller appetite? An arepa or a wrap will keep you satisfied.
On the weekends, breakfast hours aren’t as packed as lunch and dinner but their blenders buzz away as their staff make fresh smoothies and juices. If you can’t have dairy, they also make shakes with soy milk.
By the way, Valencia Luncheria moved to a new, and bigger location a block away from the original spot featured on Food Network’s television show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. So there’s less of a wait.
Breakfast is served until 11am.
