New Summer “Plates” menu items include Carrot Ginger Soup, Seared Sea Scallops with Sweet and Sour Tomatoes, and Watermelon Salad with Feta Cheese.
The Carrot Ginger Soup is served in a small cup, garnished with chives and a dollop of sour cream. The soup is light and refreshing. A nice addition to the menu. Executive Chef Matthew Schmalle notes "Carrots contain plenty of natural sugars in the beginning of the season. Combining them with ginger in our new Carrot Ginger Soup creates a depth of flavor and vibrant color, well-suited for summer.
The Seared Sea Scallops is a generous portion, especially for the price of the meal. You get four pieces of fresh scallops, cooked perfectly, on a bed of cous cous. This pairs well with the watermelon salad.
