We stopped by The Capital Grille during our lunch break to check it out. I tried all three new additions to the menu. The asparagus soup was rich and creamy, and had thin slices of asparagus on top. If you like asparagus, I recommend giving it a try. The other items on the plates menu are also delicious: clam chowder and field greens salad.
For the main course, I tried the Shrimp and Piquillo Peppers with Crisp Bomba Rice which was served on a small cast iron skillet. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was seasoned well. I also enjoyed the bomba rice that stuck to the skillet. Reminds me of the crunchy bits of rice I love munching on (or even fight with my friends to get) when I have bibimbap (Korean mixed rice), paella, or arroz con gandules (rice with pigeon peas). As a side dish, I chose the spring vegetables which were grilled perfectly.
