During my recent stay at The Plaza Hotel, I perused the shopping area to see what goodies I could find. I was delighted to see a display of macarons at FC Chocolate Bar by the escalators of the concourse level. FC Chocolate Bar is owned by the award-winning pastry chef Francois Payard.
In addition to delicious desserts, FC Chocolate Bar sells pastries and coffee. Their almond croissant is amazing, and I recommend getting one if it’s available – delicate layers of dough and almond cream, topped with sliced almonds and chocolate powder.
