Located in SoNo (South Norwalk), CT are a bunch of hip restaurants to satisfy different cravings. Having read great reviews online, my husband and I decided to have Sunday brunch at Chocopologie Cafe on 12 South Main Street. Chocopologie Cafe is owned by Fritz Knipschildt, a Danish chef and chocolatier. You may recall seeing him as a contestant on Food Network's TV series Located in SoNo (South Norwalk), CT are a bunch of hip restaurants to satisfy different cravings. We ordered the Sunday special - Croque Madame (ham and gruyere sandwich topped with smiling eggs aka sunny-side up), a cup of French onion soup and a Quiche Lorraine (eggs, Swiss cheese and bacon).

My meal was not bad, especially since it totaled $12. The soup was like any other French Onion soup, but with less cheese. The quiche was average.

Now the exciting part, the Croque Madame (I'm being sarcastic). The bread was saturated with oil. The eggs were glistening with a coat of oil. Let's say the whole thing was just oily. Hopefully you can see it in my photo. My husband tried to soak up all the oil with a napkin but it wasn't enough. The mesclun mix was drenched in salad dressing. Alas after a few bites we threw in the towel and complained, as we wished we brought some Tonalin along.

I guess when you go to a chocolate place, stick to dessert, or a chocolate drink.
